Well this is the day, we have been waiting for! Competing against millions of hearts and grabbing the FDFS tickets to seek ‘Magizhchi’ in this ‘Kabali Day’ is an unbelievable dream.
With several overhyped films falling short to satisfy the expectation of the movie lovers, will Superstar’s Kabali be joining the list; else was it a way different etching a benchmark?
Facing consecutive failures Kochadaiyaan, Lingaa, the confidence the fans carry is undoubtedly million times the one, Thalaivar has; and that’s the real challenge and pressure he faces over the choice of script and if asked whether Kabali an apt choice; ‘certainly not’ would be the exact correction, arguing the way between RajiniKanth’s charismatic performance and director Pa.Ranjith’s paperwork on which made the #Neruppu fade away.
The stylish king alone can’t toil is shoulder without a backup racy screenplay that mirrors him, no matter how great his managing skills are; and the director’s script demands crispness, at least he could’ve asked for a better edit.
Radhika Apte’s role being restricted within a circle, she finds no scope to perform, while Dhansika with a gangster makeover stays in. The pretty lady does some great action too!
One could witness few funny moments amidst the boring part, if you’ve noticed the corner space, where Attakathi Dinesh fits in. His reactions are hilarious yet dialogues have been very limited.
Santhosh Narayanan’s BGM #NeruppuDa track drives the goosebumps, while the songs are average.
Overall, Rajini’s one man show!
#Magizhchi??
Waiting for 2.0….
